The Capital Market is more than a farmers market — we’re reimagining food systems, building wealth in our neighborhoods, and shaping spaces that reflect who we are. Here’s a glimpse of what we’ve grown together:

  • 1st soilSHOP hosted in Prince George’s County, linking health and food justice.

  • 1st Farmers Market on WMATA property, transforming transit spaces into hubs for community.

  • 165+ events, workshops, and activations bringing people together around food, culture, and justice.

  • 1 Campus Master Plan designed to transform 17 acres into a community food and culture hub.

  • 15 young people trained as food justice leaders for the next generation.
