The Capital Market is an outdoor farmers’ market and food truck hub, providing a wide range of local goods, produce, art, grown in Prince George’s County and the DC Metro Region. On any given day in the market, you can find a variety staple crops like jama jama, callaloo, okra, hot peppers, bitter leaf, watermelon, peaches, sweet potatoes, collards, eggplant, apples, and home good items such as candles, preservative free sauces, jewelry, soaps, baked goods, floral arrangements, original artwork and more.
Pre-order your groceries online or shop traditional walk-up sales from our 25+ farmers and makers on select Fridays and Sundays from June through October.
We are dedicated to providing a safe and reliable marketplace for small farmers, makers and shoppers. All visitors, staff and vendors are required to wear face coverings and follow our additional COVID-19 safety policies.
